and looking towards The Bad Batch Season 2
Hi everyone, I appreciate that I’ve slacked off a little with the newsletter but with a demanding day job sometimes our creative projects fall by the wayside. Well we are coming into the new year and with my subscriber numbers growing more and more and above my expectations I want to put some focus into talking about Star Wars a bit more going forward. I do have a blog here but writing about Star Wars here seems to make more sense to me and gives me another avenue to try. I hope you have all had a good Christmas and if you are currently off work for the holidays are having a relaxing break. The biggest news to look forward to for me is the upcoming Bad Batch season 2 that kicks off on the 4th January, so we aren’t that far away from another Disney+ Star Wars series!
I loved the first season and the trailer for season 2 looks more action and fast paced. Clone Force 99 are still looking for purpose and Omega seems to have grown up a bit more and it’s good to see her skills are improving. I’m curious to know if we’ll get a season 3 already given the timeline we are working with. In parts of the trailer it certainly looks to have a darker tone and as per the first season I imagine it’ll be mix of lighter and darker episodes.

Did you get any Star Wars merchandise for Christmas that you’d like to share in the comments? I got one of the Lego sets that’s been on my list for a while - Obi-wan Jedi Starfighter. As I’ve gotten less space over time I tend to prefer these smaller sets that you can do in a couple of hours and you can put on the shelf not taking up too much space. I’d love a collector series AT-AT or Razor Crest but I have nowhere to put them.
